Ten years ago, my wife Megan and I bought our home on Prescott Turn. Like so many families who choose Clark, we were drawn to the quiet neighborhoods, great schools, and the pride people take in this community. We knew right away this was where we wanted to put down roots and raise our family.
If we haven't crossed paths yet, it’s because I’ve worked the night shift for years. Unless you live on my block or we’ve traded quick hellos during the morning school drop-off rush, you might only know me in passing. Yet, every day, and every night, I’ve been working on behalf of New Jersey taxpayers and the communities we call home.
Service From the Ground Up
I believe true leadership starts by doing the work. My career in public service didn't begin behind a desk, it started on the ground floor:
School Custodian: Learning firsthand what it takes to keep public facilities safe, functional, and clean for children and teachers.
911 Dispatcher: Managing high-stakes crises under pressure and serving as the calm lifeline between residents in distress and first responders.
Police Officer: Patrolling neighborhoods, understanding the day-to-day safety concerns that matter most to local families and businesses.
Sheriff’s Sergeant: Supervising operations, managing personnel, and handling complex public safety logistics in one of the busiest and largest law enforcement agencies in New Jersey.
As a second-generation law enforcement officer, public service is in my blood. I grew up seeing the dedication it takes to wear a badge, and I have seen firsthand what happens when elected officials make policy decisions without understanding day-to-day operations. When municipal leaders lack real-world operational experience, it is always the frontline workers and everyday taxpayers who end up paying the price.
